      Cancellation & Inclement Weather Policies

      Cancellation Policy

      At McKenzie Lake Residents Association (MLRA), we understand that circumstances may arise that require program cancellations or refunds. We aim to provide clarity and fairness in our cancellation policy to ensure the best experience for all participants. Please review the following guidelines.

      Refunds and Pro-Rating

      All refunds will be pro-rated based on the number of classes completed. Refunds will not be issued for participants who are unable to attend scheduled make-up days. Full refunds will be issued for medical reasons if MLRA is notified before the program start date and provided with a doctor’s note. If notified during the program, a pro-rated refund will be issued for the number of classes uncompleted.

      MLRA reserves the right to cancel outdoor-related programs due to inclement weather. However, it’s essential to note that only days of inclement weather will be canceled for programs with multiple classes on different days; the entire program will not be canceled. In such cases, full refunds will be issued to registered participants, or you may choose to transfer to another available program. We will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible in the event of a program cancellation.

       Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as received. If payment was made in cash, the refund will be processed via a company cheque. Please note that refunds by company cheque may take a few weeks to process.
