Facility Rental FAQ

Only McKenzie Lake Resident Association members, in good standing, are permitted to book our rental hall

Please call the office at 403-257-1657,or email office@mlra.ca, to see about booking availability.

On our website there are booking contracts for each facility. These must be filled out and sent to office@mlra.ca . Please ensure that the office has acknowledged receipt of your inquiry and has provided an invoice, bookings are not confirmed until payment has been made.

The room capacity is 80 people, this is based on the allowed fire capacity for our facility.

Bookings are permitted to have up to 25 guests enter the park, this includes all non-resident individuals in attendance (babies & toddlers included in the count).

Alcohol is permitted in only the upstairs Beach Club rental space, during a booking. The renter must acquire a liquor license and provide it to staff the day of the rental.

Guest FAQ

Each household is permitted to bring up to 10 guests per day (babies & toddlers included in the count).

Any member that is signing in guests, must be in attendance for the duration of their guests stay and cannot leave their guests unattended in the park.

Only card holding members are permitted to sign out boats, and they cannot do so on the behalf of a guest or another person.

Normal guest rules apply during event days.

Membership FAQ

Only households that are within our designated boundary and have an encumbrance to our association can have a membership to McKenzie Lake. Those without membership are not permitted.

HOA fee invoices are
issued in March and are due by April 1st. Members have until April 30th to pay
without incurring late penalties. Any outstanding invoices after April 30th will
accrue late interest.

The annual HOA fees can be paid online with a credit card, through your account. We also have in person payment at our office which accepts cash, debit, or cheques. For a more convenient option we also accept E-transfer.

No animals of any sort are permitted at the lake, with the exception of service animals of which there must be the proper identification provided upon entry.

There is no alcohol or smoking (vape, cigarettes, cannabis) permitted within the park.

Programs FAQ

All of the programs we offer are available to both residents and non-residents.

We offer programs on a seasonal basis in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.

We offer a wide range of programs for both children, youth, and adults. Ranging from physical activities such as karate or yoga, to art and engineering classes.
