The focus of our Fishing Derby is to see who can land the longest fish with you and your father, or your father figure. Whether you’re experienced or new to fishing, this event is open to all fishing enthusiasts. One participant must be a MLRA member, so gather your crew and join us for a day of angling, adventure, and friendly competition!

Catch and release is strongly encouraged as we prioritize the conservation and well-being of our fish populations, so barbless hooks are required to minimize harm. Additionally, please remember to bring your own fishing gear including rods, reels, and bait (no live bait).
